This project comes from a School Lecture Hall in Shenzhen that needed to replace the desk chairs in its academic lecture hall.
The existing seating had been used for many years — the iron leg frames had peeling paint and rust, affecting both appearance and comfort.
The client was concerned about whether our products would fit, as the lecture hall was a tiered floor design. We assured them that as long as the step height does not exceed 150 mm, our chairs can be securely installed. This reassurance allowed the client to proceed with style selection confidently.
The client’s priority was to upgrade from iron legs to aluminum alloy frames, which offer stronger durability, better corrosion resistance, and a modern look. This choice is common in our auditorium seating projects — when replacing old chairs, many customers prefer to move from economical models to premium, long-lasting options.
Considering the frequent note-taking needs in an academic auditorium, we did not recommend standard auditorium chairs. Instead, we proposed desk chairs with rear-mounted writing tablets:
